About Vandita Thakkar

Being a management graduate and having worked for the profile of an HR manager for various multinational companies in abroad, and then destiny led her back to Home country, India. Mrs. Vandita Thakkar wasn’t soul-satisfied with her work. She found her true calling in the Culinary Arts.

The journey of Chef Vandita in the sphere of cooking began as a 13 yr old daughter at home when her mother fell sick and she entered and occupied the kitchen. She never even thought about any start-up at that time. It was a sort of responsibility on the young shoulders.

In her early days Vandita never realised that she inherited her passion of cooking from her father – Rana Kamal Jungbahadur (the royal blood line of Nepal)
But it’s never too late, today she is following her passion for cooking. She has also acquired wonderful experience while taking part in Masterchef India 2016 and went up till 4th round of auditions.

With the constant love and appreciation from her Family and in-laws and complete support of her better half, in June, 2016 Mrs. Thakkar led the foundations of her own Cooking and Culinary education classes and set her foot at “Vandita’s Kitchen” serving all citizens of Baroda to share all the knowledge she has gained and will gain in her exploration in the domain of World class cooking.

Since past 6 years Vandita is conducting workshops giving cooking lessons along with hands on at Vandita’s Kitchen in Vadodara. All fin all her idea is to link up more people with cooking to make it an enjoyable and cherishable experience and also create more of cooking connoisseurs like herself.
